Celebrating Local Excellence at the Countryside Alliance Awards

Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Countryside Alliance Awards—a fantastic event that shines a spotlight on some of the very best rural businesses across the country.

It was a real joy to meet Clare and Lucy from Colwith Farm Potatoes and Farm Shop, who were honoured with a well-deserved win in the Local Food and Drink category. Their passion, hard work, and commitment to quality are a brilliant example of what makes our local food producers so special.

South East Cornwall is home to so many innovative and dedicated rural businesses, and it’s always a proud moment to see them celebrated on a national stage.

A huge well done to all the winners and nominees—your contributions to rural life and local economies are truly valued.
