I am proud to represent South East Cornwall, the place I call home, in Parliament.
As your MP, I am working every day to be a strong, visible, and active voice for our community, championing the issues that matter most to local people. From improving healthcare and housing to protecting our coastlines and culture, I am committed to delivering real change and a fairer future for all of us.
Passion, Purpose and Place.
Before entering Parliament, I spent my career in the service of others, holding senior leadership roles in national and international charities, including the RNLI. I’ve represented the UK on the global stage, led national campaigns, and brought people together to solve complex problems with compassion and clarity.
My background in economics, public policy and charity leadership means I bring practical experience, determination and strategic thinking to the challenges facing our region, whether that’s securing investment, fighting for affordable housing, or standing up for rural communities often overlooked by Westminster.
Experience that delivers.
Rooted in Cornwall.
Driven by Community.
I live on the Rame Peninsula and feel deeply connected to the land, the sea, and the communities that make this corner of Cornwall so special.
I’m a committed conservationist, a sea swimmer year-round, and passionate about protecting the natural beauty that surrounds us. I believe our coastal heritage is something to be cherished, not only for what it means to our identity, but for the opportunities it holds for a greener, more sustainable future.
When I am not in Parliament or out meeting residents across the constituency, you will often find me walking the coast path, swimming in the sea, or supporting local events and causes.
This is not just where I work, it is my home, and I will always fight for it.
My role first and foremost, is to be a strong voice for local residents in Westminster and raise the issues that matter to you.
In Parliament, I serve on the Environmental Audit Committee, where I help scrutinise government policy on climate, energy, and sustainability, holding ministers to account and pushing for stronger environmental action.
I also chair or support several cross-party groups (APPGs) on topics including Global Deforestation, Sustainable Finance, the UN Global Goals, Coastal Communities, Critical Minerals and Ageing and Older People.
These roles allow me to work constructively across parties to promote practical solutions, raise underrepresented issues, and make sure that voices like ours in South East Cornwall are never overlooked.
